Flowers at Heaven Scent

Heaven Scent Bed & Breakfast

A corner of ivy, forsythia, old rose, crepe myrtle, camellia and jasmine

This modest circa-1940 farmhouse is now a very charming inn, conveniently located on Route 33 but set far back from the road, surrounded by boxwood and magnolia, crepe myrtle and pecan trees. The richly-colored rooms are filled with art and furnished with unique fabrics; the foam mattresses and pillows are addictively comfortable. There's lots of space to visit with friends: in the living room where there are games, cable tv and highspeed internet, on the large screened porch where breakfast and cocktail-hour snacks are served, and in the gardens with their swings and patio. Heavenly scents of honeysuckle, lilacs, magnolias and roses will soothe you, and delicious food will delight you. The gardens furnish flowers for the rooms and organically-grown fruits and herbs for the table. We are committed to stewarding a thriving, poison-free habitat and are also a Virginia Green Lodging participant. Take your cue from the happy and friendly dog and cat: here you are meant to play, sleep most comfortably, be well fed, and enjoy lots of pampering. Please visit our website for photos of the rooms and extensive information on the property.
